I came out of the bathroom wearing a silver tight fitted dress,
with flared sleeves, and white heels. My brown hair was in waves, just like it always was.
You see, Adam is my bestfriend, and has been since I was in 2nd grade.
Our parents were very close, so when my dad died in a car accident, and my mom ran off with her new boyfriend, Adam’s parents took me in as their own. Ihave lived there ever since I was 11. His parents were always out of town for business, so it was usually just me, Adam, and a few of his buddies at the house. Adam was the guy all the girls always wanted because he’s popular, hot, and he’s the star quarterback on the football team at our high school. I was the envy of all the other girls.
There are 2 beds in our room, but we never use theother one.
Adam always understands me, even if I don’t tell him what’s wrong.
I have liked Adam since I was 14, now I’m 16, and he’s 17. We’re still in the same grade though.
I walked into our room, and saw Adam sleeping on our bed. He looked so hot with his light brown hair all messed up, no shirt on, and his boxers. I decided to go jump on him to wake him up.
“Woah,” he deliriouslysaid as I jumped onto him.
He held my waist as I sat on top of him, while he was still laying down.
“You look hot, where are you going?” he asked, apparently seeing that I was all dressed up.
“Out to eat with the girls, and their boyfriends, you wanna come?”
“Sure, I’ll go get ready right now,” Adam said as he gently lifted me up by the waist.
As he walked into the bathroom to take a shower, Ismiled. He was so cute.
After he got done showering, he came out of the bathroom with just a towel on, and looking in his closet for something to wear.
“Is it a fancy restuarant?”
“Kind of, not really.. Just wear a polo and khaki shorts.”
“Alright.”
He got his stuff and went back into the bathroom to change.
I layed down on our bed, while I waited for him to get done.
He came out of thebathroom wearing a white polo from American Eagle, with khaki shorts, and Sperry’s. He looked hot, but he always does so that was no change in scenery.
“Brit, you ready?” he asked.
“Yeah, let’s go” I said excitedly.
We got into his black Ford Mustang GT, and we were off.
The restuarant was only about 10 minutes from our house, so we were the first ones there.
“A table for 2?” the waitorsaid with a wink.
“No there’s actually more coming so we need a table for 8.” I explained.
“Not a problem, follow me.” he replied.
As we followed the waitor, Adam had his hand on the small of my back, and I smiled pleasantly.
‘Maybe he likes me too?’ I thought when we sat down.
There was room for 4 in a booth, and 4 in chairs, so Adam and I chose the booth.
We sat very close, while looking atthe menu. Then, Kyla and James, and Carmen and Mark came.
Kyla and James took the other 2 seats on the booth, and Carmen and Mark took the seats across from us.
About 5 minutes later, Kelleigh and John came and sat down across from Carmen and Mark.
“Are you ready to order?” the waitress asked.
“Yeah, I think so..” Adam answered.
Everyone told her what they wanted, and then she left.
“Soare you 2 a couple now?” Kelleigh asked while sipping her Diet Coke.
“No, we’re just friends. How many times do I have to tell you guys that?” I asked.
Adam squeezed my leg when I said that. It gave me butterflies.
The waitress came with our food, so everyone was quiet for a while.
Adam still had his hand on my leg, and he was making little circles on my thigh with his index finger.
Ialways thought that Adam liked Alexandria, not me.. but I guess things have changed? At least I hope so..
After we were all done, the waitress came and brought our check. We payed and then we left.
While we were walking out to the car, he had his hand on my lower back.
We got to the car, and he put his hand on my leg again. It never left my thigh the whole way home.
