The death penalty has been a serious and tough issue in our society for years. The death penalty is a Capital punishment, or the death penalty, is the killing of aperson by judicial process as a punishment for an offense. Crimes that can result in a death penalty are known as capital crimes or capital offences shown in this website calledwordnetweb.princeton.edu. This penalty shows a very wrong message to our environment, why kill people, who kill people to show killing is wrong. Doesn’t make sense?
The death penalty is a Denial in humanrights in the universal of human rights , adopted by the U.N in 1948 proclaims the right of every indivaul to protection from depravation of life. It states that no one shall be subjected to cruel ordegrading punishment. The death penalty violates both of these fundamental rights and gives a cycle of more violence. It is a cruel inhuman and horriable punshiment and has no place in a modern crimaljustice systems. Now over two- thirds of contries in the world {137} have already abolished the death penalty. So take stance and think about your rights and contries.
There is a long historyof racial discrimination in the use of the death penalty in many countries. The Death penalty continues to be pervaded by racial discrimination based on the race of the victim and, in some cases, therace of the defendant.
