Communication Channel ScenariosIn this simulation, will be have three scenarios with different manager position, and I want to choose the best communication channel I perceive is the correct for my decision. According with myknowledge and my experience I decide which the best channel is using my critical thinking.
First Scenario; I’m as marketing manager for a new beverage.
The communication channel of choice formy first scenario I going to use is the oral communication. For me this is the best communication channel for this first scenario as a marketing manager, because it will allow me as a manager of thisproject, is to convey all project details and finish expectations to my team quickly. In addition to that, I was going to gain all the opportunity to answer each concerns related to the project detailsin a reasonable fast time. As for the communication flow between the Vice President of Operations, I will use as formal report communication to channel the team’s strategy. Written communication isan option will give me the management the opportunity to analyze and respond quickly to the strategy's specifics in my team.
Second Scenario; I’m as a manager of a large travel agency.
Thebest communication channel I choose for this second scenario is the telephone communication. That because all the computer application for my employee it is critical for IT to understand the problemquickly. As the end result, the associates can implement a countermeasure quickly. As for downward communication to my associates, I decide to use the electronic mail. This will give me the bestopportunity to reach to my whole team at onetime and for each employee to have a secure document of the new login name and his password.
Third Scenario: I’m as an owner of a small editing company....
