MY WORST HOLIDAYS

In March 1994, it was the first time that my friend Carolina and I travelled by our own. Despite being minor of age we were soexcited with the idea of knowing somewhere else away from our neigborhood. We had chosen as destination a small and very quite village in the North of Tucuman.Besides we had thought to stay a fortnight in a cozy cottage, although we finally decided to spend one week because of the insufficient money.

Wearrived to Tucuman by train, and not only was the train imposing, but we travelled in the stateroom as well. The trip only lasted three hours, much less timewe thought.

The first day we got everything was all right, but in the night when my friend and I went to some restaurant to have dinner she saw a boyand in that instant she felt fall for him. Thereafter was like if had gone by my own, instead going with a friend.

They did not split up even a minute,that’s why I was so bored and I realized that it was the worst holidays of my life.

The following days I spent time walking around the fields, but thenthe third day the weather turned ugly, and I stayed alone in the cottage because my friend was never with me, as a result I was watching TV all day orsimply looking through the window the landscape. In other words, I wish I had remained at home rather wasting money.

To sum up, those holidays weren’twhat I expected and nowdays I have lost contact with my old friend, and luckily I had a lot of vacations which have overcome that terrible experiencie.
