Introduction
This report investigates the cupping therapy. When did this start?, is it popular?, is it safe?, who are the people who actually use it?.

Factsand findings
The cupping therapy started around 3000 B.C. in ancient Arabic, but many other civilizations used it according to old papyrus: Egyptians, Chinese and Greeks. Then it was spreadto Asia and Europe.
The procedure is to heat the air inside the cup and then applied to the skin (very similar to vacuum massage for cellulites but with heat) forming an airtight seal, which is located in the spine and stay there for a while. This technique helps to cure diseases for the blood flow that produces.
There are several forms of cupping which includes dry cupping,(create a small area of low air pressure next to the skin) wet cupping (small scratches are made to the surface of the skin with a sterile blade after dry cupping has been performed for 3-5minutes) and fire cupping which is the most dangerous one, because inside the glass is a cotton ball which is soak in alcohol and the lit and then is introduced to the glass for a couple ofseconds.
Cupping is still used by traditional Chinese Medicine, by the British cupping society, by Islamic (they call it Al-Hijama) and recently by Hollywood actors.
