This tour is perfect to acclimatize to the high altitude while exploring the beautiful city of Cusco. We begin by picking you up from your hotel. We walk for 2 or 3 hours, wondering along ancient streets, and visiting the most important places, such as the Main Square and the cathedral which was built over the Incan palace of Suntur Wasi, whose construction took almost a century. Which tooka century to build- the cathedral or the palace of Suntur Wasi? I think you mean the palace but it sounds from your sentence like it was the cathedral.

Then we will proceed to triunfo street to see the famous 12-angled stone on the street of 'hatunrumiyoc.' This famous stone is situated northeast of the Plaza de Armas on the wall which was part of the palace of the 'Inca Roca'. As weapproach the famous stone, we, along with the other tourists, enter the street and look a bit lost and confused as we try and find the stone on our own. Is there a sign that shows it? No- but don't worry, you'll be able to find it when you see the small group of women in front of it who are trying to sell touristy knick-knacks or by the children who'll follow you and point to it (for a small fee ofcourse!) The 12-sided stone, and the wall it is found on, is the perfect example of the stonework that was reserved for the 'elite' of Incan society. Priests, inca, rulers, etc. lived in houses of perfect stonework, which had been cut and shaped with not a gap to be seen. Rougher stones, stuck together with mud in between, were for the lower echelons of society.

Then we will walk up to San Blassquare then we visit a coca shop. Used for medicinal purposes, in religious ceremonies and as a natural stimulant, the coca leaf is the backbone of Andean culture and lore. The Coca Shop, located just off of the plaza San Blas, is an employee-owned cooperative that was founded with the objective of informing individuals about the history and uses of the plant. Strong advocators that the coca leaf isnot a drug, the Coca Shop serves up one of the best cups of coca tea in Cusco as well as coca-infused chocolates, coca cookies, coca ice cream, and more literature about the history of the coca leaf than you could possibly read in one sitting. They use all natural and local ingredients and also offer a wide assortment of flavored chocolates. It is a great place for the chocolate addict, thehistory buff interested in a different perspective on Andean culture,
We continue onward to visit the most important 7 Snakes Street, followed by the plazoleta nazarenas.  Hidden behind the cathedral, this square is an oasis of calm amid the historic centre of Cusco. Here the people working around area come to rest. The square has typical of colonial architecture so you can admire the Casa Cabrera, the Casa de los Serpientes?, and the Hotel Monasterio. This plaza houses the pre-Columbian art museum. A short ways away is the Inca Museum.  We also visit the San Francisco plaza where you can enjoy a small botanical garden. Then we walk to the main market of Cusco City and then finally return to the main plaza.
