David Copperfield

This story was written by Charles Dickens in 1850. The author confess that this novel was an autobiography.
The novel is about a boy, David Copperfield who born in England. Hisfather died after he born, so he live with his mother, Clara and their housekeeper Clara Peggotty. They are very happy on their house, but one day, Clara went to home with a man; a tall and serious mancalled Mr. Murdstone. When David had 7 years old her mother and Mr. Murdstone married and he moved to their house. In a few days, Mr. Murdstone´s sister came to live at home too. The Murdsotone don´tlike David and they gossip about his education.
Murdstones decided David didn´t go to school and they take part on his education. David was sent to London to a very strict school called Salem-House.There he make 2 special friends, James Steerforth and Tommy Traddles.
On the holiday time David return at home. Everybody is so happy with his arrived but he had a surprise, he had a brother. On thetime he was at home he was so happy with his mum and with “his Peggotty”. When he to return to England everybody in his house was so sad except the Murdstone which are very happy.
A few days after hearrived to England was his birthday. This day he was called to principal´s office to give the worst notice he can received, his brother and his mother were died. He arrive at home immediately. On thismoment he was Mr. Murdstone´s responsibility. David was sent to London for work in Mr. Murdstone´s factory. With only 10 years he was working cleaning bottles with other 2 boys.
In London he was livingwith an old pair called The Micawbers. They was very poor and in a few days Mr. Micawber was arrested because he had a lot of debts. Is on this moment when David escape from the factory to his auntBetsy Trotwood, his father´s sister who decided brought up him even in a moment when Mr. Murdstone try to recover David´s custody.
