Drought
A drought is an extended period of months or years when a region notes a deficiency in its water supply whether surface orunderground water. Generally, this occurs when a region receives consistently below average precipitation

Generally, rainfall is related to the amount and dew point [determined by air temperature]of water vapour carried by regional atmosphere, combined with the upward forcing of the air mass containing that water vapour. If these combined factors do not support precipitation volumes sufficientto reach the surface, the result is a drought

Causes and types
Natural floods are the floods that are caused naturally by the overflow of the huge volume of water, from rivers, lakes, oceans, or by heavy rains ordownpours, hurricanes, cyclones, or tsunamis, etc. Natural floods could be Riverine floods – caused by rivers; Estuarine floods – caused by a combination of sea tidal surges and storm-force winds; orCoastal floods – caused by cyclones, hurricanes and tsunamis. These are one of the most common natural disasters.
