HAVE CHILDREN PLACE THE LEAVES, BITS OF COLORFUL YAM OR STRING, SCRAPS OF PAPER, and GLITTTER BETWEEN TWO SHEETS OF WAXED PAPER.HAVE CHILDREN SUGGEST tograndparents that they hang the picture in a window to let the sunlight show off the colorful art.
Lend a hand. Have children make a gift that is a promise to be helpful to grandparents. To make the gift, leteach child trace one hand on light-colored construction paper and cut it out. Have children use crayons to create a smiling face on the front of the hand. On the back of the hand, help children writethe word love and their name. help helping hand to grandparents whit some simple chore. Children can promise to help set the table, help rake leaves, help take out the trash, help wash the car, and soon.
