Domestic Violence

Different kinds of violence:

➢ Psychological violence is the action or omission of the man with the purpose of degrading or control the actions,behavior, beliefs and decisions of the woman through the intimidation, manipulation, threat, humiliation, isolation, confinement or any another conduct that implya damage in the psychological health or the integral development of the woman.
The man mocks of the woman; he shouts her and insults her. He says thatshe is the guilty of the family problems, he tells her rough and crazy. Besides he criticizes her as a lover.

➢ Physical violence is the action oromission that produces damage or lessening to the corporal integrity of the woman.
He pushes her, hit her and kick her letting scars. Also he launchesher objects; he cuts her and breaks her bones. Sometimes he attacks her with weapons.

➢ Sexual violence is the conduct that threatens or intimidates theintegrity or the sexual self-determination of the woman.
In this kind of violence the man laughs at her sexuality or accuses her of infidelity. Heignores the need and sexual feelings of the woman. Also he demands sex constantly.

➢ Economic violence is when the man does not offer necessary economiccontributing to maintain the home.
The man has the control of all the incomes and he gives to the woman little money for the expenses of the home. Alsohe hides to the woman the quantity of his salary. Besides if the woman works she should give him the money that she earns with his job so he administer it.
