Dracula

I want to tell you about Bram Stoker and Dracula, his most famous story.

In the nineteenth century many writers were interested in oldest legends. Mary Sheller wrote Frankenstein in1819, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was created by J. L. Stevenson in 1886, Oscar Wilde published The Picture of Dorian Grey in 1891, and Bram Stoker wrote Dracula in 1897 but that wasn’t the first storyabout vampires. Lord Byron wrote a long poem about vampires, The Giaour, in 1813, and John Polidori, friend of Mary Sheller, wrote The Vampire in 1818.
Abraham "Bram" Stoker was born in 1847 and he diedin 1912. This year, in April, was the first century anniversary of his dead. He was an Irish novelist and a short story writer. His failing health forced him to study at home with privates teachers,he don’t were to school because he was its first seven years of life in bed for different diseases, while, his mother told him stories of ghosts and mystery.

Dracula was a vampire, an undeadcreature. Well he was or he is, who knows? The vampire’s stories are very old. Slavs people have believed for hundreds of years that vampires exist and they think that they drink the blood of sleepingpeople because if one vampire is able to find fresh blood, he never dies.
Slavs people believe that they can protect themselves from vampires with plants, like garlic, and with some religious objects,like holy bread or one cross, usually they wear around their necks one silver cross.
There is only one way to kill a vampire for save the soul of the undead person. You must through his heart with athick and sharp piece of wood. After, you must fill his mouth with garlic and, for ending your job, you must cut off his head.

Well, for ending this presentation, I want to read two descriptions.In the first Dracula is sleeping (page 11). In the second description Dracula is sleeping but he isn’t hungry (page 13).
