DREAMS OF FAME?

Paragraph 1- Explain which is the dream of the teenagers ( to be famous ) and mention one case ( Britain ).

Paragraph 2- Contrast being famous (explain the disadvantages ) and being successful ( explain the advantages that being famous do not have).

Paragraph 3- Say which is my point of view in relation with whichone I would prefer ( famous or successful ) but also say that I would not choose neither of them.

Many young people dream of being famous because they relate this ambition withhaving a lot of money and being successful in something. In Britain we have the clear example of it, 9 percentage of British teenagers thought that becoming famous is a great way tobecome wealthy without skills or qualifications. In addition, adolescents believed that they will be rich and that they will be respected.

If we contrast the idea of being famous andbeing successful but not so well-known, we could easily identify the disadvantages of the dream that the younger generation have.
If you are renowned you might have problems ofbeing in public eye and if you make a mistake this immediately appears in the media ( TV, magazines…). However, being successful means that you are able to have a normal life ( nopaparazzi…).
Although if you are famous you would probably ( not always ) be rich, being successful is much probable to become wealthy due to you have made considerable achievements andyou have earn lot of money.

Even though I would rather be successful than famous, If I have the choice to select between them I would not choose neither to be famous norsuccessful. I would really like to have a job that do not requires to be those things so as to have a simple lifestyle without paparazzis and without having lots of responsibility.
