Drugs
According to the World Health Organization a drug is any substance which, when introduced into the body by any route of administration, may somehow alter the central nervous system of the individual who consumes them.

This term is often used interchangeably to refer to it as the corresponding terms in active pharmacy, drug and medication, either by extending the concept or because theliteral translation of the English term drug, which does not distinguish between the three concepts. The drug causes serious damage to the central nervous system, altering memory, and language comprehension, ability to analyze and synthesize spatial stimuli and regulate behavior. Examples.

* Alcoholism: Alcoholism is a disease that involvesdeveloping a strong need to drink ethyl alcohol, so that there is a physical dependence thereof, manifested through certain withdrawal symptomswhen intake is not possible. The alcoholic has no control over the limits of consumption and is often elevating over time the degree of tolerance to alcohol.

* Marihuana: The long-term use ofmarijuana can lead to addiction, it means to search and compulsive drug use despite knowing its harmful effects upon social functioning in the family, school, work and recreation.People have long used marijuana report irritability, difficulty sleeping, decreased appetite, anxiety, and drug craving, all of which makes it difficult to stopusing it. These withdrawal symptoms begin about the day after initiating abstinence, reaching a peak after two or three days and attenuate one or two weeks after having used thedrug for the last time.

* Cocaine: Cocaine is a powerful drug to the brain. A variable portion of the people who consume it become addicted. It is sold as a fine white powder. There are twoforms of cocaine: hydrochloride salt and cocaine crystals. The salt dissolves in water. People can inject into a vein or inhaled through the nose. The crystals can be smoked. The form of cocaine thatis smoked is known as crack.

Some of the most common and serious problems caused by large doses and / or constant consumption are:
-Heart problems, including heart attacks
-Respiratory effects, including respiratory failure
-Nervous system problems, including stroke
-Digestive problems, including constipation
