Drugs Speech

This speech is designed to support the reasons why states should maintain its decision not to the legalization of drugs, but make changes to existing legislation.

The legalization of drugs is atopic that has been the subject of many projects of the human rights defenders for the free development of personality, hitting the criminal policy of the states, who seek through the criminalization ofdrugs the control of production and trafficking of narcotics, that is why you should not take part in any of these positions, but in my concept should be harmonized such rights. To do this we mustknow the reach of free development of personality, criminal prosecution by the state, the minimum dose allowed and rehab measures.

The right to free personality is part of human rights and impliesthat each person has the right to decide about their life, and address this issue, decide whether or not consume drugs and how much their body needs, however this right is not absolute, becausethis goes as far as it does not affect the rights of another individual, for example every day we see people who are under the influence of drugs perform crimes.

One of the purposes of government isto maintain harmony and peace of society, which is why they make rules that regulate the behavior of certain individuals who disrupt the harmony of society, including legislation on trafficking,possession and manufacture of drugs, because it  threatens public health, and the political, economic and social development. But we must not forget the drama that the consumer’s families have to live, as wellas others who may be victims of attacks on their fundamental rights by people who are under the effect of these substances.
