Biology Lab Report
Heart of mammal

Objective: The main objective of the lab experiment was to have a closest view to how the human heart looks like by opening a pig heart, in order to identifyall its parts, how they work and were they were located.
As we moved on with the experiment we realized that the pig heart is very similar to de human heart because of the structure the parts locationand the way it works when we open the heart.
Hypothesis: My hypothesis to prove is that the majority of the heart its made out of muscle.
Materials:
* Pig heart
* Scissors
* Tweezers* Spatula
* Cleaning paper
* Gloves
* Cutter
Procedure:
After making our groups we put on our coats and our gloves then we pay carefully attention to the teacher to know exactlywhat we need to do with the pig heart, first of all we were able to see the outer part of it like both atriums the main arteries and veins, then the teacher help us to make a vertical cut to the heart tosee the inner part of it, finally all the group was able to examine and make other cuts to the heart to see more easily some parts.

Analysis of results: During the experiment we saw differentchanges in the heart, first of all we observed that it was really cold and the color was more paled and in the inside of it we found blood clots, later on as the temperature of the air in the lab was alittle warmer than the one that has the heart so this makes the organ decompose more quickly so the color and the smell of it changes.
Conclusion: After doing all this process we can say that the pigheart is like ours, so in it we saw the different parts such as the main arteries and veins, the valves, the two atriums and ventricles, all of the muscles, the vessels and many blood clots, so inconclusion after opening the heart we can say that the hypothesis made at the first place has been proved and it is completely true because as we saw in the laboratory there are arteries, veins,...
