DALAI LAMA PEACE MANAGER
For me is very interesting write this article, because I can tell you the reasons that this personhas inspired me in my life, the person that I haven chosen is DALAI LAMA.
The name given the Dalai Lama when he was born on July 6, 1935, was Lhamo Thondup. He came from a very small village innortheast Tibet. His parents were farmers who raised sheep and grew potatoes. In addition to Lhamo there were six children in the family, four boys and two girls.
Dalai Lama is a name of honor andrespect that was given to him by the Buddhis monks of Tibet. Lama means “teacher” or “wise person” and Dalai means ocean. When we put together Dalai Lama is translated as “Ocean of Wisdom”.
Also DalaiLama is considered as a spiritual teacher, a spiritual guide to many people, he also assumed political authority over Tibet. He has indicated that the institution of the Dalai Lama may be abolished inthe future, and also that the next Dalai Lama may be found outside Tibet and may be female.
Since 1959 he has received over 84 awards, honorary doctorates, prizes, in recognition of his message ofpeace, non violence, inter religious understanding, universal responsability and compassion. He has also wrote more than 72 books.
Some of the goals that Dalai Lama has are:
Transformation of thewhole of Tibet into a zone of peace.
Change the threaten to the Tibetans as a people.
Respect for the human rights.
Restoration and protection of the natural environment.
The abandonment of nuclearweapons and dumping of nuclear waste.
For all above that I have mentioned, I have liked to write about DALAI LAMA, because it not common find a person that think in other people, each one of us makesand thinks in ourselves, nobody thinks in spiritual things that would help our world.
