The main difference between BMW and Mcdonald'sis the strategy, BMW tries to innovate a lot on the technology of the cars they create so they can sell their product as the most advanced in terms of technologyso they can put a higher price and sell it as a luxury car because it is different from other cars. On the other hand Mcdonald's strategy is to sell they'reproduct cheaper than other fast food restaurants and faster, although they also try to sell quality, people who go there is because it is cheap and fast. Also an otherstrength in Mcdonald's is that everyone knows their product which is very important in this globalized world because when people travels to visit other countrieswhich they don't know, there will be a Mcdonald's for sure wherever it is, so we could say it's a “safe” option to go to eat if you are in a country with adifferent culture than yours and you don't want to take a risk on the food. This two companies are so different because they work in very different markets so theyneed to use different strategies and structures because they have different consumers, different companies to compete with and they work with different environment.
