The jetsons was a cartoon animation series that started out in the 1960 and was produced by a company called hanna-barbera. The original series was aired on Sunday nights. The jetson’s was a veryfunny animated sitcom; which entertained many American families during the baby boom years. It didn’t matter if you were Latino or African American, it was the show to watch with the family. Georgejetson was the name of the father in the series. He worked for a company named “Spacely Space Sprockets”. His boss who was almost always complaining about one thing or another was the main source ofGeorge’s problems. The series showed its public that even though there were problems at work, things could be improved by talking them out together. Sometimes the show focused an episode on the other familymembers. The names of the other member of the jetson family were Judy, his teenage daughter; Elroy, his adolescent son and George down, about over one thing or another. Another interesting thing aboutthe series is that it introduced the idea that man would someday have robots as household helpers. George owned a robot named Rosie, who vacuumed and did other house hold chores around the house. Butthe most interesting character that added spice to the series was George and Elroy’s pet dog named Astro. Astro was a dog who was more than just a loving pet. Astro would get involved in many of thethings his master George would be involved in. he was sometimes stubborn as a mule and clever as a fox, who could communicate with his master, although instead of correct pronunciation, he would sayeverything as if it started with “R”. for example, “Right, Reorgel”.
