Everybody Hurts
R.E.M.
The video is about how the people feel sometimes; it describes itself as the title says! “Everybody Hurts”, the video was filmed in ahighway, and all the band (R.E.M.) are stuck in the traffic while some toughs are showed on the screen, also there are more actors and every one of them even when they seems normal, they keepsomething in their minds, everybody in the video have something wrong, everyone have something that is hurting them, there are three undocumented Latinos, a father with his two boys an elder men with hiswife, and a couple arguing in front of their kid, all they want to be better, want to be free, want to be happy, they want to let the bad things go away! And that’s why the song says that everybodyhurts, and everybody cries, and just after that, the band gets off the car and leaves the car in the traffic, they starts to walk and they seems like they are forgetting everything and they just walk away,they are free!!, and suddenly the rest of the people leaves their cars and follow them, and everybody do the same!, at the end of the video an helicopter and a reporter shows all the cars opened andparked in the highway and they can´t believe how was that possible. "Everybody Hurts" is a R.E.M. song, from the 1992 album “Automatic for the People” It was choose as the No. 29 on the Billboard Hot100, No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 3 on the French Singles Chart. In an attempt to raise money for the victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown asked SimonCowell to arrange acharity single.[12] Cowell chose "Everybody Hurts", Brown agreed to waive VAT on the single and R.E.M. agreed to waive all royalties.[13] The release was under the name Helping...
