FAINTING, LOSING CONSCIOUSNESS
Staycalm. If someone faints, elevate their legs with a pillow or jacket. Move their head to one side to facilitate breathing. Put a cold compress on the person’s head. Call 066. (If the person was hit onthe head, DO NOT move his/her head! Call 066.) If the person is not breathing, do artificial respiration.
BURNS
Stay calm. Run minor burns under cold water. This will help take away the pain. Forlarge burns, call 066. If your clothes are on fire, stop, drop and roll: let yourself fall on the ground and roll on the ground to stop the fire. Don’t run.
CUTS
Stay calm. Wash minor cuts withwater and soap. For large cuts: cover the cut with a clean cloth. Press (push) the cloth on the cut to stop bleeding. If the bleeding doesn’t stop, call 066.
