Hacer = to do/to make
En general, cuando se trata de crear o fabricar algo nuevo, la traducción suele ser to make,y cuando “hacer” tiene el sentido de realizar actividades, se traduce por to do.
(In general, when we refer to create or to manufacture something new, the translation is usually to make, andwhen “hacer” has the sense of doing a job, it is translated into to do).

Ejemplos:

(We invite Agustín to come home tonight).
