EXTICTION IS CLOSER THAN WE THOUGHT.
Imagine the scene. A world without vegetation and animals, almost everything are roads, buildings and people. Do you think such worldcould survive? A majority of biologist are convinced that a mass extinction of plants and animals is started. The rate of extinction has raised and it coincides with the enormousincrease in the world’s human population. Many animals are disappearing due to human activity, which are pollution, hunting and habitat destruction.
Each species in a habitatneeds and help the rest to survive. Some have been disappearing from the planet during years. Extinction is a slowly natural process and it is part of the world evolution. Forinstance, dinosaurs became extinct 60 million years ago and new varieties of animals emerged to replace them. However, if this process becomes a quickly and mass extinction,the whole nature system will suffer.
People should not interfere with nature and should stimulate changes to protect endangered animals. The main measure could be to protectanimals in danger by law. If hunting them is banned, the possibility to survive increases. Other measure could be to control de level of pollution, which contaminates theecosystem. Finally, opening more national parks and planting more new forest could allow breeding endangered animals to live safely. For instance, panda bear was nearly to extinction20 years ago. It was protected and now its number is growing again.
Ecosystem is really important to maintain, as humans depend on this environment. People should do whateveris in his hands to protect nature. If this does not happen, many wild animals will soon have just one habitat, the zoo, and many plants will survive only in greenhouses.
