Introduction
Science Fairs are done every year by students with the purpose of teaching them to have skills for investigation and to do projects. The purpose of thisproject is to discover a new ecologic way to acquire electricity. We are concerned that lately our home, planet Earth is struggling with different kinds of problems, from oil spills like the one on Mexico to global warming. It’s our job as the new generation, as the new future in charge to protecting what is left to protect. That is why we choose our topic for our last Science Fair to be somethingproductive, something scientists in the future may consider as an option to produce energy. Leaving Earth seems impossible for our actual technologic and scientific possibilities, so with a bigger reason we have to take care for what’s ours.
This project is of huge interest for us because it may be the beginning of a new creative way to see things. It will help you open mind just as it helped us.Having a new perspective of how to create energy and electricity is a great beginning. If we can create energy with a fruit we can definitely do great things to help our future, and that is exactly what we are trying to do. We all have to start from the bottom, for example, Albert Einstein, a genius in every aspect he wanted. He read like nobody, he was one of the most intelligent humans ever born.Even though all of this amazing characteristics on him, he, once had to start learning how to read to become a reader. He had to start making volcanoes on science fairs to produce electricity. We all begin small but if our purpose and intentions are great we are by far ending as big ones. I’m sure a great amount of people have the wrong idea that light bulbs may be just turned on with electriccurrent, what they don’t know is that making electricity is one of the easiest things you could ever do, even better with a nonpolluting object as the fruit lime, orange or the vegetable potato are.
We have to start making conscience about what are we are doing to conserve planet Earth. If we continue how we are right now we are not going to last very far. God has a perfect purpose for us in thislife, what is your own perfect purpose to help conserve our home, our life, our everything?

Problem, Hypothesis, and Objectives

PROBLEM
Which is the best energy producer fruit or vegetable?
HYPOTHESIS
If fruits are electricity producers, then using fruit energy a small motor or light bulb can function.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
Extract electricity from different kinds of fruits andvegetables.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
Define the main generators of organic energy
Observe the main causes of global warming
Analyze the different fossil fuels used for energy

Experimental Design

This experiment is about producing electricity from fruits and vegetables and applies it on light bulbs. The control group is going to be a 3 volts battery, theindependent variable is going to be the kind and amount of fruits and vegetables used, the dependent variable is going to be the amount of energy produced by each fruit or vegetable.

Materials:
Copper electrodes (copper coin, copper wire, copper nail or screw)
Zinc electrodes ( zinc screw or nail)
LED light or Flashlight bulb 1.2volts or 3 volts
Wires
Multi Tester
Oranges
Lemons
PotatoesCarrots
Any fruit or vegetable you predict that can produce Electricity (citric are known to work good)

Procedure:
1. Put the fruit on the table and roll it to soften it up.
2. Insert the copper and zinc electrodes into the fruit separate them by 2 or 5 centimeters.
3. Wrap one wire to the zinc electrode and another one the copper electrode.
