LAB REPORT

1. COVER
In the cover, you must include the “Prepa TEC” Logo right on the top left and the full institutional name. At the center the report’s title, “Lab Practice number X”. Font mustbe number 16 and in blackbold faced writing. At the bottom right part of the cover, you must include the student’s names along with the student number, the proffessor’s name, group number and date todeliver.
2. Introduction.
Introduction must be one page long. It must contain quotations. You must get your information from a text book and there must be a quotation in every paragraph written.E.g. (Pérez, 2009).
3. Objective
It is usually given in the Practice sheet. Otherwise, you’ll have to come up with it based on your observation. The objective ALWAYS starts with a verb in theinfinitive. The verbs which MUST be used are: Identify, Compare, Determine, Measure, List, Order, Detect, Confirm, Test, Set, etc. The ones which MUST NOT be used are: Know, Investigate, Study, Analyze,Inform.
4. Hypothesis
It will be given to you in some practice sheets. In some others, you’ll have to come up with it. They are probable answers to the research questions or the objective.
5. Materialgiven in the practice sheet. You MUST NOT write it down again, you are only expected to follow its instructions and get the practice done.

7. Results.
You’ll only write down the obtained results here. You may use graphs, charts, photos, etc. Each graphmust have a heading, a number and written next to each axis the variables you worked with.
