Writing a film review
Recently, a week ago with my classmates and my English teacher, had the great opportunity to see a play at the theater, the film was called "Frankenstein" the great writer MaryShelley and was directed - produced by Danny Boyle. The film was horror-theater type. As for the cast, I have to say it was extraordinary for example, the role of the creature is interpreted byBenedict Cumberbatch (known for his roles in "The Other Boleyn Girl", "Atonement" and for having interpreted the paper of Sherlock Holmes "Sherlock," the hit TV series) and Dr. Victor Frankenstein, theunforgettable Jonny Lee Miller, of "Trainspotting". It was produced at the National Theatre in London, in 2011.
The play itself is a new version of Mary Shelley's masterpiece, where Boyle looks for waysto modify many aspects of the plot, yet also to maintain the essence of this. The play shows us a child creature in his innocence but grotesque in form, the creature is baffling banished to a hostileuniverse by his creator who is horrified to see it, but that being with cruelty wherever he goes, the creature without friends, increasingly desperate and vengeful, determines to find his creator andreaching a terrifying deal. Furthermore shows us a Doctor Frankenstein a very common, that is irresponsible for leave the creature, his passion for science, and that at end of the frame ends he goeswith Frankenstein by a terrifying agreement made between them.
In particular I liked the part where the creature was born (that is the beginning of the film), that thanks to the great actor on stageand the many effects, both audio and visual, made ​​me believe at some time that this creature really was existed. I also liked the parts where the creature begins to learn to speak and read, andespecially I liked the part where he began to feel the feeling of the "love".
