The aim of the course:
With the disappearance ofYugoslavia and large companies and banks which were holders of the business economy of Serbia with foreign countries, a "Serbian paradox" has emerged: an old country has had to build itsplace in the ‘public opinion’ of world business circles. It is necessary to know: characteristics of structures of economies in all regions of the world, particularly countries that aresupposed to be the main partners of the Serbian economy, their international business relations and policy and regional connectivity and their reflections on the Serbian economy.Outcome of the course:
Knowledge about the importance of geo-economics as a substrate of geopolitics, determining the direction of movement in economies of certain parts of the worldand forecasts of the movement. In this way, it should be contributed to creating the analytical basis for the construction of appropriate strategies of economic relations of Serbia withcertain parts of the world, and thus its participation in the global economy.
