DIAGNÓSTICO DE LA SITUACIÓN DEL MUNICIPIO DEL MUNICIPIO DE SESQUILÉ-CUNDINAMARCA

RESUMEN

Sesquilé es un municipio de Cundinamarca (Colombia), ubicado en la provincia de Almeidas, seencuentra a 46 Km de Bogotá sobre la Troncal Central del Norte. Sesquilé, en idioma muisca, significa Boquerón de la arroyada. Fue fundado en 1600 por el Oidor Luis Enríquez.
Sesquilé cuenta con un variado y extenso territorio de planicie que lo compone el área longitudinal del Embalse de Tominé en la Veredas de Gobernador San José y Chaleche, son áreas que en el pasado se explotaron en la agriculturaantes de la construcción de la represa, hoy son dedicadas en su gran mayoría a fincas de recreo. Existen zonas montañosas en la parte alta del Municipio (que son explotadas en agricultura (cultivo de papa) y ganadería especialmente. El área noroccidental es donde se concentra la mayor actividad agroindustrial del municipio, zonas de planicie y ligeramente quebradas que han dado auge a la mayorexpansión poblacional. Cuenta con fauna y flora muy diversa,
Este trabajo tiene como eje central, conocer el municipio de Sesquilé-Cundinamarca en sus diferentes aspectos, enfocándonos principalmente en el aspecto ambiental, para la elaboración de un diagnóstico que nos permita analizar la situación actual del Municipio. De igual manera se busca conocer los problemas ambientales del Municipio,identificando los que tiene más impacto en los recursos naturales, con el fin de identificar y priorizar el de mayor afectación y darle posibles alternativas de solución.
ABSTRACT
Sesquilé is a municipality of Cundinamarca (Colombia), in the province of Department, 46 Km of Bogotá on the Central Troncal del Norte. Sesquilé in Chibcha language means the BANYULS Boquerón. It was founded in 1600 bythe Oidor Luis Enriquez.
Sesquilé boasts a varied and extensive territory of plain composes it the longitudinal area of the Tominé reservoir in the sidewalks of Governor San Jose and Chaleche, are areas that in the past exploited in agriculture before the construction of the dam, today they are devoted mostly to fincas de recreo. This work has as a central axis, know the municipality of Sesquilé-Cundinamarca in its different aspects, focusing mainly onthe environmental aspect, for the preparation of a diagnosis that allows us to analyze the current situation of the municipality. In the same way it seeks know the environmental problems of the municipality, identifying which has more impact on natural resources, in order to identify and prioritize the of greater involvement and give possible alternative solutions.
