Dear Carol,
Hi! How arethings with you? Hope everything is fine! I´m really sorry I didn´t write last month as I promised in my last letter but I´ve been up tomy eyes at work.
You are not going to believe what happened to my neighbor, Miss Mary Maloney, yesterday. Remember Mary Maloney´shouse? It is a semi-detached house at the far end of Lujan´s street, the third from the end on the right, just down from a little pizzeria.Well, I was reading Harry Potter, as usual, when suddenly I heard a loud noise from her house. I watched through my bedroom window, but Ididn´t see anything strange. After that, I saw Miss Maloney going out and she looked a little bit worried. I noticed she came to herhouse very quickly, and a few minutes later, I saw a handful of police and detectives in front of her house. So I asked to one of themwhat was all that mess about, and the policeman told me that Mary Maloney´s husband was dead and his murderer run away without left a clue.What do you think Carol? It looks a little strange to me , I mean she didn´t look shocked at all, despite of having lost her husband.But anyway, write to me as fast as you can! I really miss you Carol.
