IDIOMATIC EXPRESSIONS
In order to make users understand in an easy and quick way, we, as active advisors should know beforehand the meaning of every idiomatic expression from our material and at thesame time could explain briefly what an idiomatic expression is.

An Idiomatic expression is:

* It is an expression that you cannot understand word by word.
The Idioms express a differentidea from the definitions of the individual words into a phrase.

* An idiom is an informal metaphor. Their meaning is an informal analogy where common culture references are expressed byspeakers.

How could our students understand it easily?

* The meaning of the idiomatic expressions could be achieved by association, comparison or resemblance.
* We should explain the idiom as awhole, using TPR as a helpful tool for transmitting the right meaning.

Don’t forget:

* In some cases Idiomatic expressions are not considered part of the language, but part of the culture.As follows, we proceed to check the different expressions from the advanced book in a concise and brief way.
