Toward Perpetual Peace

I:peace is defined as the end of each hostility and eternal by definition. It should not be exploited, with the mental reservation as soon as possible to resume the war. Its use is unworthy of kings.II: the state is not any good, it should be regarded as a natural person (an end and not a means).

III: progressively reducing standing armies, it reduces the danger of war. Also states that usemen for war is to deprive them of their humanity.

IV: denounces the relationship between war and finance, and the accumulation of the latter.

V: the complaint unjustified intervention in theaffairs of other States in their foreign. For Kant only in the presence of a civil war, the interference is acceptable.

VI: must wage war in order not to jeopardize future peace, avoiding a return tothe state of nature more brutal. There should never be without moral consideration of the other preventing the extermination of the enemy.

These articles contain prohibitions. Articles 1,5,6 do nottake into account the circumstances and require the immediate implementation. Articles 2,3,4 take into account the circumstances allowing it differs.Definitive articles for perpetual peace


I: the Republican constitution implies the freedom of citizens and the contract and submission to the law, the legal equality. It is the only one thatcan induce states to agree on Perpetual Peace as the opinion of the citizens would be required for the entry into the war. Then divides those who makes up the civil society can possess sovereign powerand the way it is used. The Republic is known for the pact between citizens.
