The Importance Of English As A Second Language
When I was a child I remember I used to watch movies and cartoons in English, I just heard funny sounds, I just could not understand anything theywere saying. Just like me, so many people goes thru the same situation, and not as child but as a grown person.
When I was a student I had English classes but it was very hard for me not only becauseI could not understand the explanations of the teacher, but because English lessons were practically given as any other class in Spanish, and that was a big mistake of the teaching methodology.It is very important to have access to learn another language, because it allows us to be able to understand another culture, information, programs and entertainment aspects from different societiesaround the world.
It is also important as a learning and working skill because it lets us get in contact with very useful information from different areas of interest. And it opens a big source ofdata for research purposes.
In this globalized world the use of another language helps us to be in touch with a lot of people around the globe, it certainly has changed the social skills of modernworld, where technological gadgets are so practical and massive accepted in social interactions not only in business but in personal aspects. This is a very attractive motive to learn a second languagefor young and older people.
When people travel it is very useful and practical to speak another language, it helps to get better hosting places and leisure places. It gives us a marvelous chanceto get in touch with the local people and have a much better and personal experience when one is abroad, getting new friends is always exciting and it is a great way to learn a lot more about thecountry, history and culture of the place.
Music, television and movies are majorly spoke in English and about eighty percent of the contain of the internet is in English, so being capable of reading...
