Simple Present
Form
[VERB] + s/es in third person
Use the Simple Present to express the idea that an action is repeated or usual. The action can be a habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduledevent or something that often happens. It can also be something a person often forgets or usually does not do.
Examples:
There are some particular cases as an example if the used verb ends in"SS", "SH", "CH", "O" and "X" to be the 3rd person singular in the affirmative form added "S". If the verb is KISS, it combines: She kisses to her boyfriend.
Another exception arises if the verbends in 'y' after a consonant. To form the 3rd person singular replaced this "and" accompanied "i" termination "es". Example: If the verb is to STUDY are combines: She studies the lesson.

El Presente Simple es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para describir acciones habituales que suceden con cierta frecuencia y no hacereferencia a si está ocurriendo en el momento actual.
I play tennis. Yo juego al tenis.
(Hace mención de un deporte que realizo cotidianamente y que no necesariamente lo estoy jugando en estemomento).He works in an office. Él trabaja en una oficina.
(Se refiere al trabajo que desarrolla una persona frecuentemente). They travel to Madrid. Ellos viajan a Madrid.
(Habla de un viaje que se repite adiario, aunque el sujeto no lo esté realizando ahora).
A continuación se muestran las formas afirmativa, interrogativa y negativa de este tiempo verbal:
En el cuadro superior se ha tomado comoejemplo el verbo PLAY (jugar). Observe que en el modo afirmativo, en la 3º persona del singular, se le añade una “S” al verbo.
He eats vegetables. Él come vegetales.
Alice dances at the theatre.Alice baila en el teatro.
