a) Fixa’t en la forma de la 3ª persona del singular: He/She/it has. Totes les formes del present del verb to have got són iguals (have), excepte la 3ª persona del singular que porta una –s final (has). b) Per formar frases interrogatives cal seguir el model següent: Ex. Have you got a computer? (cat. Tens un ordinador?) Fixa’t en que s’escriu el subjecte després de verb. c) El verbto have got normalment s’utilitza amb el significat de tenir: Ex. I have got an American friend (cat. Tinc un amic americà) He has got a daughter (cat. Ell té una filla) D’altra banda el verb to have s’utilitza també amb el significat de prendre en algunes expressions: We have an orange juice for breakfast (cat. Prenem un suc de taronja per esmorzar.) John has a shower in the morning (cat. Johnpren una dutxa al matí.)

2. El verb like El verb like significa agradar. Serveix per expressar gustos i preferències. S'utilitza seguint dues estructures possibles:
I like pizza Like + noun (nom) I don't like coffee - (A mi no m'agrada el cafè) You like driving – (A tu t'agrada conduïr) Like + verb in –ing We don't likegetting up early ( A nosaltres no ens agrada llevar-nos d'hora) - (A mi m’agrada la pizza)

Fixa't en la diferència d'estructura en anglès i en català. Compara: I like pizza A mi m’agrada la pizza - verb transitiu normal - verb pronominal
