Trujillo,a City of Eternal Spring. Located in the northeastern part of Peru, is the capital of the department of La Libertad. It is close to the Pacific coast, in a coastal desert.
Founded in 1534 byMiguel de Estete and well fortified to prevent the assault of the pirates Where was provisional capital of Peru for their independence.

Trujillo is smaller than Lima, with a population of about 1million.It works as a commercial center of the region La Libertad, where cultivated sugarcane and rice. It is also a distribution center and has establishments in the textile and food.

The colonialhouses and the historic center where the startling contrast of the Moche huacas and Chimu, near the city. The fusion of pre-Hispanic and colonial produce an exquisite culture enriched by their food.My parents were born in Trujillo's why we always come back to visit our relatives, they are very friendly and welcoming. Also miss the typical food like ceviche, cabrito con frejoles, shambar, sopateologa and pescado a la trujillana entre otras.

I recommed to visit others tourist attractions as Chan Chan, considered the largest adobe city in Hispanic America. Plaza de Armas considered thelargest in the country, Temples of the Sun, Moon, Dragon, Emerald, Toledo, Bishop, Shell and Dead Horse. All very close to the capital and serves to better understand what were the ancient cultures inPeru, and Huanchaco, a former colonial port. Remain very popular resort where horses of totora, vessels of this material employing the Mochica-Chimu to fish. If you are a woman interested in you whichis also known for its many shops of shoes.
