Nació el 18 de septiembre de 1982 en La Barca, Jalisco, México. Desde muy pequeño mostró interés por el futbol y sus grandes cualidades lo llevaron a formar parte del club Guadalajara, a la edad de16 años.
La Fundación “Alfredo Talavera” es una institución sin fines de lucro, cuya misión es impulsar el desarrollo integral de niños y jóvenes a través de la educación, la salud y nutrición, asícomo de diferentes actividades de labor social.
“Fundación Alfredo Talavera” ha sido inspirada en los valores que anteceden la trayectoria como jugador y como persona de su fundador, consciente de lanecesidad de ser actores de cambio a favor de un ambiente sano que nos permita fortalecer a los sectores con mayor marginación.
