Elizabeth was an beautiful and unusual looking queen.

Her pale face and long red hair caught people’s attention and whon she spoke, people listened.
Elizabeth was becoming impatientwith her ministers about the Catholics grow stronger every day and she need to be hard with them.
Elizabeth was the fifth and last monarch of the Tudor dynasty. The daughter of Henry, she was born aprincess, but her mother, Anne Boleyn, was executed two and a half years after her birth, and Elizabeth was declared illegitimate. Her half-brother, Edward VI, bequeathed the crown to Lady JaneGrey, cutting his half-sisters out of the succession. His will was set aside, Lady Jane Grey was executed, and in 1558 Elizabeth succeeded the Catholic Mary I, during whose reign she had been imprisonedfor nearly a year on suspicion of supporting Protestant rebels.

Elizabeth was an immensely popular Queen, and her popularity has waned little with the passing of four hundred years. She is stillone of the best loved monarchs, and one of the most admired rulers of all time. She became a legend in her own lifetime, famed for her remarkable abilities and achievements.
Raleight had returnedfrom the new world where he had discovered land for England. He wanted to go back there, but his ship needed some work first and the queen had to allow him to sal there again. . Her birth was possiblythe greatest disappointment of her father's life. He had wanted a son and heir to succeed him as he already had a daughter, Mary, by his first wife, Katherine of Aragon. He had not divorced Katherine,and changed the religion of the country in the process, to have only another daughter. Elizabeth's early life was consequently troubled. Her mother failed to provide the King with a son and wasexecuted on false charges of incest and adultery on 19 May 1536.
The queen didn’t want to marry . she would not be such a strong leader if she was mamed and the idea of having children frightened.
