PIERRE: Yes, definitely. I miss the things I used to see and do in Paris.J.C. : Like what for example?
PIERRE : Well every morning I used to see the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero on my way to work. Iused to have lunch at a small caf� on the West Bank and watch the boats on the River Seine�.(in French) Ah! Paris, Paris�.
J. C. :How about on rainy days or in the winter. Did you use to enjoy it then?
PIERRE : But most definitely. Paris is beautiful all year.The bad weather didn�t use to spoil my enjoyment at all.
J.C. (smiling) Well you love your city, obviously. If I win the lotteryI�ll go to Paris one day . Where did you use to work in Paris?
PIERRE: In �Credit Lyonnais�, it�s a large bank in France. I usedto be a bank clerk there.
J.C. : Oh, so that�s why you�re studying economics here in the U.S.A.?
PIERRE : Yes, it�s a lotcheaper than France. I�m improving my English here, too.
J. C. Did you use to speak much English in Paris?
PIERRE: No, not verymuch.
J.C. : Will do the same job if you return to Paris ?
PIERRE: I hope not. I want to be a CEO at the same bank. But that�senough about me. Tell me, do you still miss Colombia?
J.C. : Yes, of course, a lot.
PIERRE: Tell me what you used to do there�..
