Is Better To Talk To Someone Than To Send Text Message.

IS BETTER TO TALK TO SOMEONE THAN TO SEND TEXT MESSAGE.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen: Today we are debating the resolution: “Is better to talk to someone than to send them text message”. We onthe affirmative team strongly support this resolution. We have four reasons: Cost, emotions, fast replies and everybody can have access to it.
Our first point is cost. Talking face to face is free,but to send text messages you have to spend money.
• If you don´t have money, you can´t communicate by text messages.
• Sometimes people spend too much money in a month, and it can be spent on othermore important things.
• If you have something important but long to say, it would be expensive to try to communicate it by text message.
Our second point is emotions. You can see the people´sfeelings if you talk face to face.
• A text message is a cold and impersonal type of communication.
• “ Talking face to face you can see other people´s gestures” ( Alvaro Raúl Davila herrera 2008)
•Sometimes people lie when they send a text message. It´s easier to see people´s intentions when talking face to face.
• Talking face to face is the best way to express your feelings. The psicologistGraciela Rodriguez (Bolivia) said “ you can express your feelings and show what you want to say if you talk face to face. A text message is a little false” 2010.
Our third point is fast replies. Youcan recieve the answer from other people faster if you talk face to face, but when you through text messages you don´t know when people will answer to you.

• Sometimes there are problems when the signal is low and you can´t send text messages.
• If you wantto give a long reply it could take several minutes to send a text message, but if you´re talking face to face you receive and give the answer in the moment.
