Is the world a good place?

This is my second opportunity that I have for writing a TOK diary. The topic that I have to talk about today is my opinion about the world, I have to answer a questionspecifically which is “Is the world a good place?”. And my answer is yes it is a good place to live although I have another thoughts too. First of all, I think the world is a good place because it iswhere we live, we learn things in this world through the years, we’ve got so many experiences here.

In this world we have our friends, family, which support us through everything, and try their bestto make us smile every single day of our existence. We learn so many things in here, it is for our own experience, and someday in the future we will look back at this experiences and smile. The worldis made by us (the people), and that’s how we know if it is a good place or not.

If we are good people, support each other, have great experiences, etc. I can assure you the world is a good placefor everyone. But as a quote says “nobody is perfect”, also we have to remind ourselves, that not everyone has the best intentions for us, that’s why there are thieves, fake people, manipulators,bullies, etc. And this people are the ones who cause the trouble everyday.

As we can see, as there are more thieves, more people are feeling more uncomfortable, insecure, and afraid for living, andthat’s when the world becomes a not so good place to live. These feelings affect people in their lives, and that’s why they have to improve their thoughts and be a better person.

Because if youthink of it, if bad people stop existing in this world or at least improve their actions and thoughts, I can assure you that we could all live in peace and happy. So that’s how I could relate people withthe world, and if it is a good place or a bad place to live.
