Like any country, Italy has customs that are representative traditions which show the behavior of their nation and have been maintained over the years despite the influences of othercultures. Among the customs that characterize this country more known for its family traditions have the celebration of marriage, family life, food and entertainment.

Saludos:
Among the most commonsocial habits is the handshake and the kiss is made with the lips without touching the cheek of the other person. An informal greeting is the ciao, which means hello or goodbye.
Conversacion:
It iscommon to see Italian men filled with praise for a woman. Thus, women were once forbidden to date a man and should depart from falling in love under the supervision of a group of people whosupervised the relationship until the wedding day. There are still communities and people who respect that tradition Italian so do not be surprised if we see a bride and groom walk accompanied by a group ofwomen who go after them all the way.
Comida:
At dinner, pasta is the most traditional dish of the Italians, besides being recognized for their excellence. A traditional Italian lunch almost always hasthe presence of a generous portion of ravioli, spaghetti and fettuccinis that are accompanied with sauces.
We also find the pizza in the traditional dishes, though, should be deep dish andtraditional.
It is common for Italians to invite us about your home when we have tried and are in confidence. Do not be surprised if we find the whole family at home as is traditional in weekend lunches aresubmitted by grandparents, parents, uncles, cousins, etc..
