INTRODUCCION

El país del origen del Sol o también conocido como El país del Sol naciente, está ubicado entre el océano Pacífico y el mar del Japón, al este de China, Rusia y la península de Corea.
Japón se conforma por 4 islas principales(Honshū, Hokkaidō, Kyūshū y Shikoku) las cuales abarcan cerca del 97% del territorio total del país, y por otras de 6848 islas menores. La división territorial de Japón se da en prefecturas y a su vez cada prefectura se divide en ciudades (“shi”), villas (“chō”) y distritos rurales (“gun”).
La capital de Japón es Tokyo, la cual junto a las prefecturas que la rodean forman el centro urbano másgrande del mundo en términos de población (30 millones de habitantes aproximadamente).
El japonés es el idioma oficial del país y su forma de gobierno es la monarquía constitucional en la cual hay un emperador y un parlamento conocido como “Dieta”.
