Kant´s Moral Philosophy

1. What is duty for Kant?
Is the necessity of acting out of the universal law, we shouldfollow and act from the categorical imperatives.
2. What is the most important issue in Kant´s moral theory?
That he doesn´t has prove of what he is sayinglike in this quote ¨Kant believes we
value it without limitation or qualification.¨ How do you know that we value moral
withoutlimitation.¨
3. Which categorical refers to personal goals? Why?
The humanity formula because it says that it is hard to imagine any life that is recognizablyhuman without the use of others in pursuit of our goals, but at the same time I think is the third one because we don´t have to use people as tools in order to haveour end.
4. Which categorical refers to universal laws? Why?
The autonomy formula because it says that you could be legislator of universal laws if youact thought your maxims.
5. How should man be treated according to Kant?
Man should be treated not as an end, an introduction of respect, we don´t have to seeothers as tools without a value, don’t use peoples as means to our ends and don’t use humanity as an objective end.
6. Why does Kant deny rights of animals?Because they don´t have moral and they don´t know how to behave.
7. Does Kant take happiness into account?
No because, every person has a different ideaof what personal happiness is, so you can’t take into account for the moral; he’s moral law is based in reason he is only telling the beginning of our actions.
