How has the Legend of king Arthur Influence The world? |
Legend: An unverified story handed down fromearlier times. |

Unverified, it can be true or false, leaving apart the fact that Arthur’s life is fictional or real story, is a fact that the legend have an actual impact on the minds and productsof our times. And also he had a big influence on our earlier literature and goods. But how was him? What make him so important over the other Kings of the middle edge? In order to understand his biginfluence in the world we are going back to his time and read his story.
Arthur was the first born son of King Uther Pendragon and heir to the throne. These were very troubled times and Merlin, a wisemagician, told the king that Arthur should be raised in a secret and no one should know his identity.
As Merlin feared, when King Uther died there was great conflict over who should be the nextking. Merlin used his magic to set a sword in a stone. Written on the sword, in letters of gold, were these words: "Whoso pulleth out this sword of this stone is the rightwise born king of all England."Every knight tried to draw the sword, but none could succeed. Arthur, just by an accident, pull of the sword so his “brother” was able to use in a tournament. Following this he became King.

Afterwining some memorable battles Arthur settle a base that was at a place called Camelot. Here he built a strong castle. His knights met at a Round Table. They carried out acts of chivalry such asrescuing damsels in distress and fought against strange beasts. They also searched for a lost treasure, which they believed would cure all ills - this was the 'Quest for the Holy Grail […]
This is just ahalf of the legend of his life and I have much information that supports his importance in the world.
