Both teacher and student, are effective agents of the teaching-learning process.Alongside the teaching functions, teachers often performinvestigative functions (especially at university level), continuing education (teacher training) and organizational or managerial tasks in schools. One such function is called tutorial function, which in thecase of primary and secondary education focuses on students and their families (when done by teachers who specialize in this area is called educational guidance) and in the case of teaching is higherin the direction of research activities by students as doctoral theses (in some cases there is the figure of the mentor).
Teachers are called teachers of all levels of education: early childhoodeducation, primary education, secondary education and higher education.
