U-KISS

U-kiss is a South Korean Boy Band formed by NH Media. And also is an international group, that in the moment is expanding to Europe and Latin America.
The name of this group is because each letter has a meaning.

U - Ubiquitous
K – Korean
I - International (Idol) 
S – Super
S – Star

Thereare 7 people that conforms this team, but in the very begging it was only 6 members.
The 2 first ones were Kevin Woo and Kibum that came from another musical group called Xing, and then it appears Soo Hyun.

The 15 of August on 2008 the group officially debut on japan in “Power of Atamix”. Then they released their first mini-album “New Generation”, and it ends the 3 of September on the sameyear with his presence in south Korean singing “Not Young” in the T.V show M! Countdown.

 Lee Kiseop, a new member, joined the group during the promotion of this mini-album with their carrier single, Man Man Han Ni, This song is often known as U-KISS breakthrough song as it helped them to make their names known in the Korean entertainment industry.

At the moment the group had only released 2half Album’s and a lot more Mini-Album’s.
Their first full length album, “Only One” was released in 2010 with their biggest hit, Bingeul,Bingeul. The second one is Neverland this one was released in 2011.

On 2011, U-KISS formally signed under Avex Japan for their Japanese debut. They recently made their formal debut into Japan, on December 14th, 2011, with the release of their single “TickTack”. The second single is entitled Forbidden Love while their first Japanese full-length album is dubbed as A Shared Dream (2012). Oricon published in 2012 that U-KISS achieved high album sales in Japan along with other big artists like Girl’s Generation and KARA.

The group also participated in various TV reality shows such as You Know U-KISS, U-KISS Vampire, Chef Kiss.
Their maknae(youngest)Shin Dongho participated in various shows like Raising Idol, Idol League, Real School and Royal Family and films such as My Black Mini Dress and Hong Gil Dong.

U-KISS had their first concert in Manila, Philippines which name was “U-KISS First Kiss Tour in Manila”. They also had major concerts entitled “First Kiss” in Japan cities and is now busy for their upcoming “U-KISS 1st Japan LiveTour” that will kick off this March 2012.
To date, U-KISS has won a total of 9 awards, 8 of it were awarded in 2011. So their popularity it’s growing up around the world.

TV SHOWS

Before the release of their first full-length album, U-KISS starred in a new variety show Called as “U-KISS Vampire”, In the show, the members moved into a dormitory that they stayed during the whole duration of filming.They were sorted into groups according to their blood types, Alexander, Kibum, Eli and Kevin were grouped into the Blood Type O. Soo Hyun and Kiseop were grouped into the Blood Type A, while remaining member, Dongho, into the Blood Type B, And the manager into the AB Boof Type. U-KISS Vampires aim was to reveal the true identities of each member according to their different blood Types.
The nextreality-variety show was ”Chef's Kiss”. In this variety show, the members opened a real restaurant which they named “U-KISSteakHouse.” The seven members were split into teams and each week, they competed among themselves to decide which team would be chosen to cook in the restaurant that week.
ONLY ONE

Only One was released on February 3, 2010. The song "Without You," the supposed titletrack, was first released on January 27, 2010 as a digital single but later, their managing company decided that they would promote Bingeul, Bingeul, in which it became another hit like its predecessor "Man Man Han Ni".
It became their highest chart-topping single in the Philippines which resulted in visits to the country with mall shows and a successful first concert.
