As soon as i shot the gun, i knew i had made a mistake. When i went over, i
saw a lot of blood splatter on the ground. As i poked it to see if if it was alive, i
noticed that it wan not moving atall. I knew my dad was going to be angry at me
for what i did. this day was not going to turn out the way i thought it would.
When i was twelve years old i was living in the united state and everydecember i came to honduras for vacation. I enjoyed going to my dads farm here
cause i loved to ride my horse and see the cows and every animal here. My family
and i always came here to spend thethose hot days cause we had lots of trees and it
was less hotter than in the town. We always watched my dad shoot his gun at a tree
and we put bottles to see how his aim was good or bad. I enjoyedbeing here and
my family and loved spending time with other family members.
One day i went to the farm with my dad and to the farm to pick up some
thing that we were taking to the lake. When we gotthere, my dad left with my
uncle to the other side of the farm were we had the equipments and everything. I
stayed in the farm house and just walked around to see if i could do anything fun
whilewaiting for my uncle and dad to come back. As i was walking around i just
went over to the dogs and played with them and has i was playing around i found
my dads gun laying on the ground were the dogshad been tied up. What happens
next was the worst thing a kid could do.
I began to think of shooting just one shot at a tree but at the same time i was
kind of scared to do it. i thought to my sincemy dad was kind of far away i knew
he would not hear the sound of the gun shot. I was bored and just wanted to do
something for fun. i grabbed the gun and went to the back of the house were my
dadalways shot the tree that was there. Before i went to shot the gun i put up
bottles of empty beers on the tree to see how my aim was. When i grabbed the gun
i shot it and miss the tree but i shot...
