2. What is database systems This is a computerized system whose overall purpose is to store information and allowusers to retrieve and update information within it. The information in question can be any data that is relevant to the individual or organization from which databases are handled, ie informationrequired to assist in the overall operation of the user or organization. Some writers on the subject explained that data and information are synonymous. Still others advise that data is used to refer towhat is actually stored in the database and information to refer to the meaning that gives users the recorded data.
