RESUMEN
La presente investigación describe las características de la elección vocacional que
realizan mujeres diagnosticadas con anorexia nerviosa. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa
basada en entrevistas semidirigidas y la aplicación del CIP-R. La muestra estuvo compuesta
por siete (7) sujetos, que se encontraban en tratamiento en la institución ALUBA.En todos los casos, los sujetos mostraron vínculos pertenecientes al mundo interno
con características de inmadurez, lo que implico que en la elección vocacional se utilizara la
reparación maníaca de objetos internos dañados, también se encontraron vínculos de
dependencia infantil principalmente con la madre e idealización de la figura paterna. Por
otro lado, se observo unasobrevalorización del conocimiento e intelectualización en
detrimento del cuerpo, expresándose esto último en la sintomatología.
Finalmente, la inmadurez y la sobrevaloración del conocimiento, coartaría la salida al
mundo adulto, provocando un resguardo en la misma patología, funcionando esta como un
sostén del status quo.

ABSTRACT
This research describes the characteristics of the career choicethat made women
diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. We used a qualitative methodology based on semistructured interviews and the application of CIP-R. The sample consisted of seven (7)
subjects, who were treated at the institution ALUBA.
In all cases, the subjects had ties belonging to the inner world with features of
immaturity, which implies that vocational choice is used to repairdamaged internal objects
manic, they also found child dependency links primarily with the mother and the idealization
of father figure. On the other hand, we observed an overvaluation of knowledge and
intellectualization to the detriment of the body, the latter expressing their symptoms.
Finally, immaturity and the overvaluation of knowledge, would deprive the adult
world output, causing abackup in the same condition, running this as a buttress of the status
quo.
