The name of the short story is Adam and Eve by Mark Twain. The story is about two
biblical characters in this case Adam and Eve. Adam is naming all the things in theparadise but all
the sudden he sees a woman (Eve). He doesn’t wanna talk or deal with her because he was afraid
of not be able to do the work of name all the things. In the meantime Eve trying tomaybe impress
or trying to make a statement that she is able to do what men are capable to do, she begins to
names things as well. What causes that Adam gets mad with her. In the proses Adamtells Eve that
is forbidden takes apples from the forbidden tree and if she does it the cause will be death. Thing
that Eve doesn’t listen and do it anyway. Adam finds out what happens and has noother choices
that goes and seek in another state. Then Eve finds Adam and decides to live and work together
until death.

I really enjoy reading the story because it seems like another whole wayto look what
Adam and Eve where doing in the paradise. Mark Twain writes the story like not everything was
perfect between them. They basicly don’t like each other. I like the fact that the authorputs Eve
like the creator of the fire and then puts Adam jealous because a woman discovers such thing.
Maybe Mark wants to take the thing that happens in that time and turns it upside down, andsays
that the women are capable of doing things as well. Also the part that Eve tells Adam, that they
have to work and live together hereafter, for me that line its symbol of matrimony because thatis
what a married couple do. They try to survive together no matter under what circumstances being
said that, in the story de circumstances are that they are going to get old and die.

The endfor me is confusing. Because I’m not sure if Eve really love Adam. She says that
she loves him, but didn’t know why. She says that she love him because he is handsome and
strong but for me that...
