Learning to let go.

“Everything has its time, and everything that is loved underneath the sky has its time”… Ecclesiastes 3:1.

It is always precise to know when stages of our liveshave finished. If we insist on remaining on them more time than the necessary, we lose energies and the sense of what we have in the present. Cycles, doors, chapters, whatever we want to call it, theimportant thing is to be able to close them, to let go of those moments of life that need to be closed.

Is the relationship finshed? You no longer live on that house? Did you lose a job? Is thefriendship is over? We can spend a lot of our present time “digging” on the whys, in trying to go backwards in life and to trying to understand why something has happened.
The physical, mental andspiritual wear would be infinite; You, I, Your friend, Your siblings, Everyone and Everybody are oriented to go closing chapters, to switch pages, to finish stages, or life moments, and to keep on.

Wecannot stay in the present rememorizing the past or even worse, asking ourselves why. What has happened has happened, and we are to learn to let go, we are to learn to detach. We cannot be children foran eternity, or belated adolescents, or employees of nonexistent companies, nor have bonds with those who no longer wish to be bonded to us.

Things happen for a reason and we got to let them go.That is why it is so important to destroy memories, to give presents, to change of environments, to throw away documents, to sell or give away books, etc. Eternal changes can symbolize internal processesof success: to let go, to detach of what we no longer need. In life, no one plays with marked cards; we have to learn to lose and to win, considering always that a victory is simply the signal thatwe are advancing in the correct path. Don’t expect to get back a favor you have made; do not expect to be recognized by your merits; do not expect that at some point people realize who you are. Enjoy...
